The Sam Farquah Foundation and Orphanage is rooted in a Christ-centered commitment to demonstrate God’s love by breaking the chains of poverty and transforming lives. We uplift individuals and communities by removing barriers to opportunities, nurturing resilience, and empowering minds.
Through a range of transformative programs in primary and secondary education, vocational apprenticeships, entrepreneurship schemes, and social assistance, we are restoring hope, and creating pathways to equity, success and a brighter future.
To empower lives and elevate communities through Christ-centered action that restores dignity and unlocks potential, resulting in successful individuals who contribute to society.
FROM THE DESK OF THE FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
My parents, the late elder Samuel Farquah of Afinaware Community, Patani, and Princess Omobolade Eniola Farquah of Isotun, Osun State, instilled in me a profound sense of service to humanity. My father was deeply compassionate, always showing empathy for others. He never forgot his own humble beginnings. After losing his father, when he was only a child, he struggled to support and educate himself. He never allowed hardship to harden his heart. He believed that life was not about accumulating wealth for oneself, but about using one's resources to uplift others. His enduring legacy is his generosity. He never missed an opportunity to lend a helping hand. It is with this spirit of compassion for others, that the Sam Farquah Foundation and Orphanage was born to extend this legacy of Christ-centered love and service.
Across many developing nations, communities, including Patani Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria, are grappling with poor socioeconomic infrastructure. Poor school systems, food insecurity, lack of healthcare, and unreliable electricity are not just inconveniences, they are barriers that prevent individuals and families from surviving, let alone thriving. These conditions fuel the many faces of poverty and rob countless lives of opportunities. The Sam Farquah Foundation and Orphanage stands as a beacon of hope in this landscape. We are building a coalition of compassionate changemakers, people who believe in the power of service and the dignity of every human life, to bring about the transformation these communities so desperately need.
As Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. once said: "Whenever you are engaged in work that serves humanity and is for the building of humanity, it has dignity, and it has worth." Thank you for joining the Sam Farquah Foundation and Orphanage in the fight against poverty.

Late Elder Sam Farquah (November 18, 1936 - April 7, 2021)
An enduring legacy of unconditional love shared freely with all.
The greatest accomplishment in life for me would be my contribution towards improving the quality of life for others. My father, the late elder Samuel Farquah, always told me to bring a smile to somebody's face every day. I believe that my service is making a difference by lifting burdens and making others smile. Your donation will make a difference in somebody's life and make them smile. Thank you for joining us in the fight against poverty.

"Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us" (Romans 5:5). It is with joy and love in my heart that I serve to help others see their hope accomplished.
Dr. Akpos Ogola, Trustee
I derive pleasure from serving others and believe that I must give back to society. Having practically grown up without my parents, I understand what it means to rely on and get support from others. Jesus Christ directed us to give to those in need among us, like orphans, widows, and the sick. As a society, we can't afford to abandon the less privileged. I'm delighted to be a part of the Foundation because it is a God-given vision.
Funkeyi Obidake, Trustee & Secretary
As a former Youth President in my community, I understand the call to service and take it seriously, knowing firsthand that there are lives that depend on a ray of light to hang their hopes on. I know that implementing effective programs and ensuring their success is essential to positively impacting lives.
